Uganda's Most Popular Wildlife Park
Queen Elizabeth National Park

Queen Elizabeth National Park is Uganda’s oldest and most popular park and stretches between Lake George and Lake Edward, and is bordered by the Rwenzories, the so-called 'Mountains of the Moon'. The park’s diverse ecosystems, which include sprawling savanna, shady, humid forests, sparkling lakes and fertile wetlands, make it the ideal habitat for almost 100 mammal species, including its famous tree climbing lions, ten primate species, including chimpanzees, and over 600 species of birds (including the rare African Shoebill). There are also opportunities for visitors to meet the local communities around the park.
