Luxury
Enjoy Kenya's contrasting landscapes and its extraordinary wildlife. Rejuvenate at luxury tented camps on the Laikipia plateau, in the shadow of Mount Kenya and in the Masai Mara, arguably Africa's richest wildlife reserve...
7 nights / 8 days from US$ 5,900 per person
Days 1 & 2. Sirikoi, Lewa Conservancy

Upon arrival, game drive to Sirikoi in a valley overlooking a vital water source for wildlife in the Lewa Conservancy. Lewa's outstanding game viewing reveal rhino, cheetah, lion, leopard and is also home to the greatest population of endangered, thinly striped Grevy's zebra.

"Arm-chair" gameviewing is perfected from expansive main area lounges and each thatched tent's verandah which look onto a waterhole. Tents have a comfortable lounge and cosy fireplace for cool evenings with a sherry while unwinding in a hot bath. Gardeners lovingly tend to a organic vegetable garden, gifting the basis for chefs to creat truly fresh and tasty Kenyan inspired meals.

Days 3 & 4. Rekero, Masai Mara

A flight south takes you into the heart of the Great African Migration terrain of the Masai Mara. Rekero is strategically located overlooking an ancient migration crossing point on the Talek River, your front row seats! Daily game drives allow the chance to glimpse the amber gaze of hunting lions and the spectacle of more than a million wildebeest with their entourage of eland and zebra.

The understated comfort and style of this classic tented camp is amplified by the warm and friendly guides and staff. Each tent has a private verandah, spacious cool tent and en-suite bathroom with old style bucket showers.

Days 5, 6 & 7. Naboisho Conservancy

Depart camp on game transfer to Naboisho Conservancy. Being outside the National Reserve, Naboisho Camp exels at night drives, nature walks and cultural visits in addition to game drives in an area bursting with wildlife and one of the highest densities of predators in the Mara system.

Located on the edge of a forested Acacia glade, the thatched guest areas are comfortable, cool and airy with reference books and large couches for relaxing. Each of the tents have stunning views from private verandahs, perfect for watching wildlife amble by and the en-suite bathroom features a glorious enclosed outdoor shower.

Recommended Extension: Amboseli

Few landscapes evoke Africa better than Amboseli National Park, especially when huge male "tusker" elephants or journeys of giraffe walk in step along well worn game paths, with Mount Kilimanjaro's snow blanketed peaks in the background! Rolling grasslands, massive umbrella Acacia trees and white washed pans complete this truly African landscape.

Many exciting lodge styles exist, however at A2A Safaris we believe the best to be in nearby private conservancies such Tortilis Camp close by or the Chyulu Hills not far off to the East. Our team have visited and know them all, let us help you plan to ensure the best memories.
