We had a fabulous time, thank you so much for your assistance in helping us with the bookings.

Madikwe - was absolutely fabulous and a good "fit" for us. As a couple, the Kopano lodge was definitely the way to go with only 4 rooms and away from the bigger groups/families. The staff there were very very attentive, food was good, and our guide JP (Jacques Neizel) was superb in every way.

Lion Sands – a little unfortunate on this one as it rained 3 out of 6 game drives. Nonetheless we soldiered on and did the drives, getting pretty wet in the process. Once the skies cleared during the second half of our stay, the wildlife was out in abundance and we saw some really great stuff that more than made up for the earlier game drives. All in all we still had a fantastic time and I guess the weather can't be helped.

Whilst both safaris were great, if we had the luxury to choose to go again,  we would say Madikwe was overall a better experience. A combination of the lodge layout, quality of food, service, the staff etc.

The Cape Cadogan Hotel – Quirky. Massive rooms.  All the front office staff bent over backwards to help arrange visits, tours, dinner reservations etc.  There was a lovely bubbly girl on the front desk who managed to get us a reservation at The Test Kitchen restaurant at short notice at the Old Biscuit Mill. Yay, it definitely ranked highly as one of our many Cape Town highlights.
