First of all, thank you for being so responsive to our all queries and needs. Cherine and Ailin (who helped us during the trip itself) were GREAT! Thank God for a lovely week with Min filled with many firsts and special moments not all of which were captured. Particularly proud to see how she handled her horse across the plains on a more than one hour journey. Pray that our next safari trip will materialize soon. It's refreshing to see Min so fascinated by and excited about wildlife that she could talk about them non-stop. Such a blessing. May God continue to hone her interest in this area.
Leaving with a tinge of sadness. It was such a blessing seeing God's creations in their natural habitat (and at the same time sad learning how much mankind is destroying it). The colonies of Meerkats, the magnificent white Rhinoceros, the journey of Giraffes, and pride of Lions were definitely highlights. It was gratifying seeing Min take a deep interest in conservation issues - she kept our guides busy with her incessant questions while spotting and correctly identifying the various animals and birds. "Daddy this is more fun than watching TV and playing with friends." Wow. If it is God's will, may she find her niche in championing environmental protection.
