How do I book a safari?

Please contact us by e-mail or telephone and let us know when you would like to travel, how many people will be travelling and ages of any children, an idea of your budget, and if you have any specific destinations or interests in mind. Once we know your requirements we will work with you closely to design a safari that suits your needs.

Don't worry if this is your first time on safari and you have no idea where or when to travel – this is why we are here. A large number of our clients are first-timers, so we are very used to answering all the questions that you inevitably will want to ask.

If you are located near one of our offices, we strongly recommend that you arrange a convenient time to visit us and discuss your plans and any specific requirements in person with one of our expert travel consultants. If this is not possible or convenient then a video call via Skype or FaceTime is an excellent alternative. It always saves a great deal of time – not to mention much e-mailing back and forth – if this can be done, and it will certainly give you a much clearer idea of what options are open to you and a chance to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of each option with someone in the know. This process will enable us to design the most suitable itinerary for you.

Once we have created a draft itinerary, we will then check availability with the various lodges and camps (this usually takes around 24-48 hours), and if space is available, we will make a provisional booking in your name and send you a full proposal, including a detailed itinerary and quotation. There is no obligation on your part at this stage. This is merely to prevent the space from being booked by another party while you are making your final decision.

We will be more than happy to work with you to make any changes to the draft itinerary until you are completely satisfied that it meets your needs perfectly. Provisional reservations are then confirmed on receipt of a non-refundable deposit of 30 per cent of the total trip cost.
