Kevin took excellent care of us, and dispensed advice freely, thoroughly and considerately. I appreciate his incredible attention to detail, (he made us feel like we were the only clients he had, which I’m SURE was not the case!), right down to emailing us shortly before our adventure to advise us to book a day use room at KIA Lodge for our return journey home. Even though it was an agent in Vancouver who helped us with our flights, he took the time to look at that part of our itinerary and helped us to not be in Kilimanjaro International Airport for somewhere around 6 or 8 hours. It was honestly something that had not even crossed my mind (a day use room), but it was absolutely the right decision for us, and he got that done in a heartbeat. We are so grateful.
Kevin is also very patient, and understanding. We postponed our trip at the last minute in 2014 because our families were worried about the Ebola outbreak. Even though Mei and I knew there was very little risk, it was impossible for us to convince our loved ones (partners and extended family), and we did not want them to worry the whole time we were gone. Kevin helped us re-book everything, and negotiated with the camps on our behalf for understanding. I know that must have been a huge hassle for him, and we felt very badly to have put him in such a position, but he was really kind about all of it, and we were so grateful (again).
This is my second trip with Kevin (he arranged a trip to Kenya for me in 2009), and if / when I go back to the African continent, I will certainly look him / Asia to Africa up again. I could NOT recommend him more.
