“Our overall experience far exceeded our expectations and our safari was spectacular We had not expected to see the wildebeest crossing the Mara River as we knew we were early in the ‘season’ but nature decided to bring it forward. It was a spectacle nonetheless but very emotional to witness nature at perhaps its cruelest – we saw a number of scenes that would not be seen on documentaries. On a lighter note we did see three of the “seven natural wonders of Africa” during our 10-day safari. We particularly wanted to see hyenas and vultures and saw a lifetime’s number of the latter. Had a memorable night game drive in Tarangire and this is recommended. And then of course there were the lions, lionesses, cubs and cubs not yet introduced to the pride... I could go on. Mention should also be made of the excellence and professionalism of our two Nomad guides, Felix and Ken – both great guys.”
