“We had a fabulous time on safari and it is hard to get back to work! We saw some fabulous (and gruesome!) sights, including a bull buffalo being brought down by a pride of 11 lions right in front of us and a wild dog hunt and kill taking place across a riverbed in Zimbabwe. We also saw some black rhinos in Zimbabwe, leopards and a hyena and wild dog fight at Vumbura, and a cheetah killing an ostrich very close to Jack’s Camp! We thought Pamushana was fantastic. The service and food were amazing and the wildlife incredible. All in all, great stuff which made for some memorable photos!”

“We had a great, great time, there were highlights everyday and we had special sightings everyday! We actually waited and saw a live kill by a leopard of an impala, and also watched a group of lionesses devour a buffalo, we were charged by hippo in our boat, and many many more. Needless to say, kids had so much fun! We wanna do another trip soon – maybe to Namibia or the migration!!

“Just wanted to drop a note to tell you how much we all appreciate your help and kindness, and how it made the trip planning so much fun and seamless.”

“We had a great time. Victoria Falls was amazing and all three of us did the microlite glider across the falls. It was awesome seeing the rainbow follow us as we went over the Falls. The river cruise was beautiful too. The safari in Botswana was an eye opener because its so different from Kruger. The wetlands bring a whole different angle to game viewing which was an experience. We saw some lions, leopards, hyenas, elephants etc but no killings unfortunately, but still interesting nonetheless and a great time overall. I have fond memories.”

“With heavy hearts we have left Botswana... We just wanted to let you know that our experiences at both Savuti and Vumbura Plains were just incredible. We were so well looked after and both guides, Lets (Savuti) and Ona (Vumbura Plains) were so knowledgeable and showed us amazing animal experiences. In fact, we did try to extend our stay but in the end couldn’t make it work logistically...

We will definitely be planning another one. In fact, the girls cried when leaving! Our experiences have touched our hearts.”

Federico & Monina Lopez

“Everything about the trip was superb, if not awesome. The diversity of things we saw and did was just right. Service, food and accommodations at Singita were first rate and microlighting over Vic Falls and fishing in the Zambezi river were definitely things we’ll remember for a very long time. But Jack’s Camp and Super, our guide, were something else! Those meerkats standing on our son Robert’s head, our walks with Cobra and his bushmen and quadding on the saltpans, and the aardwolf and brown hyena our son will never forget.

James & Jane Peterson

“We enjoyed the tranquility and beauty of the landscapes and contrast to our normal surroundings, complicated by pollution and technology. The hosts and guides in the camps made a real impact on our stay. All were excellent. We wished we could have stayed longer.

“The Dock House was a great location with a boutique homely feel and was a great end to our trip. Our day in Stellenbosch was fabulous. Cannot rate the beauty of the area and our guide was so helpful and knowledgeable. Your choice of restaurant was awesome.”

Fred Ayala

“We just wanted to thank you for organizing a WONDERFUL trip to Botswana and Zambia for us. All the logistics went very smoothly, and all of the venues were terrific.

Jigs Carlos

“We saw the Big 5 plus all the other animals, very cool. I can now identify a few birds because of the safari. The francolins and turtle doves non-stop chatter at night at Chitabe, frogs in Vumbura, and silence in Jacks. All camp accommodations were fantastic, with Vumbura topping the list. Huge, huge room with a view. In Vumbura, we followed three lions into our camp at night! Another highlight were the dinner dates with Oona – Jacks Camp set up a bar for the sundowner in the Kalahari desert. I really enjoyed the fact that where ever we went, there were only a few people!”
